If EVER you’re faced with a math word question that talks about shapes, areas, distances, angles, lengths, etc., draw a picture roughly to the specifications of the problem, or if the question is printed with a picture modify the picture provided. Combining the visual prompts of a picture with the usual mathematic computations makes you more aware of crazy (wrong) answers and obvious math errors on your part, and keeps you from doing the problem “in your head”—a major no-no on the SAT!
